In December All Dreams Come To An End
Atheer Abdullah Al Nashmi “I believe that love is a priceless gift with which God has endowed us …
"But love is cruel. It is too cruel for me to sustain. In fact, I can’t go on having an ambiguous love, a love that can take me places where I don’t want to go.” A self-exiled Saudi journalist enters middle age and looks back on a life of personal broken-heartedness, political disillusionment, and severed family ties.
Having sacrificed so much because of a doomed love affair with a trailblazing colleague, he eventually finds himself involved with a new woman, a brilliant but unorthodox firebrand who reveals nothing about her past – or her plans for the future. Her rejection of convention pushes his passion towards obsession. But will he ever really learn the truth about her? And if he does, will he come to regret it? By the same author:
