Nomad welcomes unsolicited manuscripts and book proposals, although we cannot promise to respond personally to each and every request. The core genres where we are seeking to expand the list are photography, reference, local interest, history and current affairs. And travel, of course. The publishing list has expanded its geographical compass beyond the original homelands of the bedouin nomads of Arabia to spread the net wider, while ever focused on cross cultural studies and travel.

To enable a clear assessment of the proposal we request:

• A cover letter providing an overview of your book
• A clear outline of the target reader and any specialist marketing or sales activity that might be required to make this a success.
• A comprehensive table of contents. Please be sure that this is as detailed as possible with estimated word counts where possible. 
• Some sample material - one or two representative chapters to provide a clear sense of the content and writing style. If the book is illustrated, representative illustrations or photographs are essential.
• A list of related or competing titles. Please provide a brief description of each competing title giving its strengths and weaknesses, and telling us how it compares to your proposed work.
