About the Author
Adel Fakhro  is Group Managing Director of the Abdulla Yousif Fakhro Group, one of Bahrain’s largest and oldest family businesses, with interests in trading, logistics, telecommunications and food service. He has led the growth of his family business in Bahrain and the GCC for over forty years and is a leading figure in the world of Bahraini commerce.
 
Educated in Bahrain, England and Lebanon he has also played an active role in community service and in heading Non-Governmental Organisations in his country.
